Ice Cube suspects Diddy was ‘targeted’ amid legal trouble: ‘I believe someone had the ability to pull the trigger to make this happen’

Ice Cube describes hip-hop as “the wild west.”

It goes without saying that Diddy has had a difficult few months given the amount of legal controversy surrounding the founder of Bad Bad Records. In addition to being the target of multiple lawsuits from those reporting him for  ̵s̵e̵x̵u̵а̵l̵ ̵а̵s̵s̵а̵u̵l̵t̵, abuse, and other offenses, he is also the focus of a federal investigation into s̵е̵x̵ ̵ trafficking.

The ᴅʀаᴍа started in November when Cassie, the mogul’s ex-girlfriend, filed a lawsuit. Since then, there have been a number of unverified theories concerning the precise cause of the floods. The most recent was from Ice Cube, who discussed the fiasco in a recent interview.

Ice Cube and Patrick Bet-David had a little conversation on Diddy’s legal issues during their PBD Podcast interview earlier this week. He claims that he is not surprised by his current circumstances. The hip-hop industry, in his words, is like the “wild west.” But he believes believe Diddy is hiding someone from him.

He asserted, “I think he’s being targeted.” “I believe someone has the power to pull the trigger to make this stuff, this domino effect, happen.” Ice Cube continued, emphasizing that his comments are completely conjectural and that he hasn’t done enough study to discuss specifics. “I just know that he was cool up until a point, and this stuff started happening,” he said. “So I believe somebody… Said ‘Yo, he’s our new guy we’re on this year,’ or whatever.”

When word leaked out in November about his third lawsuit, Diddy’s representative refuted the claims on his behalf. They also asserted at the time that he was “targeted,” charging his purported victims of abusing the New York Adult Survivors Act.
