One of the greatest and most likely to remain the most talked-about event of 2024 is the beef between Kendrick Lamar and Drake. The two rappers traded several diss tracks with each other when the entire music industry was in flames. Although the two have a past together, the circumstances truly heated up a few months ago. Given that they are the greatest in the business, their back-and-forth felt like a never-ending feud to the fans. It’s safe to assume that the best-selling record would result from combining all of the diss tunes!

But first, a detailed look at the rivalry between Champagne Papi and KDot.

The song “First Person Shooter,” by Drake and J Cole, was the first to be released in late 2023. Now, aside from a few оffensive lyrics, it was a really good track overall. However, J. Cole once referred to himself, Drake, and Kendrick Lamar as the “Big 3” of the music business in a bar. Indeed, the three artists are extremely successful, and it wouldn’t be entirely incorrect to state as much.

But the song “Like That,” featuring Future, Metro Boomin, and KDot, was published in less than a month. “Think I won’t drop the location?” Lamar asked in response to J Cole’s bar, referring to himself as the biggest artist. Drake’s involvement immediately caused the controversy to center on him and KDot. “Push Ups” and “Taylor Made Freestyle,” an AI-generated diss track, were released by Champagne Papi. This specific song utilizes artificial intelligence (AI) to mimic Drake’s voice, making it seem like Snoop Dogg and even the late Tupac!Finally responding at this moment, Lamar delivered a six-minute diatribe titled “Euphoria.” After that, the two rappers alternated, responding to the disses in a matter of days or even hours. That all came to an end, though, after KDot’s song “Not Like Us.”

Drake naturally responded to the criticism with “The Heart Part 6.” However, Kendrick’s final song in this feud was the most notable and peaked at number one on the Billboard Hоt 100. In the past two months, the song has been streamed over 500 million times on Spotify. The song is so well-liked that it was chosen as Team USA’s winning theme!

The single seemed to be a callout to Drake, played by the arena DJ after their victory over Canada in the exhibition game! However, it wasn’t a one-time event.

Team USA destroyed Serbia in Abu Dhabi, and they then rocked “Not Like Us” once more. This might be their winning hymn for eternity at this point. Conversely, LeBron James was thrilled when the song was aired. Steph Curry, however, exclaimed, “Dаmn with this song! That song isn’t the only one in America. South Sudan will be their next opponent on Saturday. If the Americans win, it will be interesting to see if they stick to the same formula.

Although the rivalry between Drake and Kendrick Lamar wasn’t a contest between Americans and Canadians, it appeared to have become one after the United States had defeated Canada. As a result, their feud has finally ended, and neither artist has released an update in a while.
