Safaree admitted that watching ex-girlfriend Nicki Minaj date Meek Mill put him through “dark times”

Safaree has said that he had a “dark time” after discovering his ex-girlfriend Nicki Minaj was dating Meek Mill.

On Tuesday, July 9, the We In Miami podcast posted a teaser to Instagram in which the former Hoodstars member discussed his previous relationship with Nicki.

When Nicki and I first split up, he recalled, “We were all beefing and shitting and she got with Meek and they were like the biggest in the world.” You have to remember that I was up against two of the biggest people on the planet.

Nobody wаnted to be next to me because they knew that everyone would be against me. No one desired to collaborate with me or any of that nonsense. It therefore made everything difficult, and that period of time was really difficult for me.

Safaree also mentioned the backlash he faced at the time, saying, “I’m not even gonna sugarcoat sҺit.” Nicki and I had a breakup. Some of her followers and other others simply wаnted it to end and sаy, “Okay, they’re no longer together.” Fucƙ him and move on, let it go. Allow him to fade away, dissolve, vanish, whatever.

“Yet here I am, nine or ten years later — ten or fifteen TV series later, a lot of songs released later, Doors Up later. Some find that objectionable. “Dаmn, why are n-ggas still paying attention to this n-gga?” is how they put it.

Speaking on Meek Mill, Safaree has been doing so for a while.

He said that the “Dreams & Nightmares” rapper contributed to the breakup of his long-term relationship with Nicki Minaj in an interview with Rap-Up from 2016.

In the interview, he stated, “He was definitely a big part as to why me and Nicki broke up.”

By exposing the rumоr that Meek FaceTimed Nicki while Safaree was with another woman, The Game posted on Instagram, the Love & Hip Hop Hollywood star inadvertently identified Meek as the cause behind their breakup.

Soon after the information was made public, Safaree and the other person were enraged and tweeted, “you ever see a pic of some1 you used to deal with and wanna send that ‘wyd bighead’ text i hate yall #stuntgang.”

A few hours later, Meek seemed to make fun of Safaree on Snapchat by sharing a picture of himself along with the phrase, “Hey bighead,” and an emoticon of a sobbing face.

In a tweet that was sent in response to Meek’s Snapchat, Safaree continued to boast about his “control” over people he doesn’t know, even though he refrained from mentioning names.

“I’m kidding, but it’s amazing how much power I have over people I don’t know. I do this for all of you! I appreciate your love, #stuntgang,” he tweeted.

Rapper Meek Mill is not the only one who has displeased Safaree after their breakup.

The Brooklyn native acknowledged earlier this year that Nas’ kissing of the Young Money rapper in her “Right By My Side” music video “hurt” him.

Do you want to know what’s so absurd? During an interview on the Keep that a Stack Podcast, he said, “I didn’t know it happened until the video came out.” “I was hurt, N-gga. I was hurt when that thing happened.

“Since I had spent the entire day there, I thought, ‘Dаmn. Did that occur when I departed? I believe that scene occurred after I had left for maybe an hour or two.
