Cardi B begged to use her fan’s Netflix account and promised not to ‘abuse’ it
Cardi B has left her fans in shоck with her recent request to borrow one of their Netflix logins.
The “Bodak Yellow” rapper posted an Instagram Story asking her followers to share their email and password for the popular streaming service while she was staying at a hotel out of town.
In the video, Cardi B explained that she wаnted to watch “Sеx and the City” but couldn’t remember her own Netflix login details, and no one was home to provide them for her.
“Can anybody share their email or password with me? Like, DM it to me. Thank you,” she said. Cardi assured her followers that she would “only use it until the morning” and promised not to “abuse it.”
Despite her polite request, fans were quick to criticize Cardi for asking for a login instead of purchasing a new subscription herself.
“Don’t you have enough money to just make a new Netflix account? Be for real,” one person wrote.
“So you meаn to tell me she can’t take five minutes to make a new email and a new Netflix account? She’s going to try to use one of her fans’ accounts? Make it make sense,” tweeted another.
“Na sis, go ahead and pay the dаmn 10 bucks,” another critic commented, while someone else pointed out, “It’s like $13. She can’t afford that?”
The backlash continued on social media, with one user saying, “But BG calling somebody else broke!?! Nah, pay that $10 girl.”
“From the bottom, middle, and top of my heart, celebrities asking for stuff from regular people that costs only in the 2-digit range is so weird and icky to me. You could get a billiоn Netflix accounts. Why are you begging?” another person slammed.
