Cardi B Blasts “Fake Love” in Cryptic IG Message, Fans Theorize It’s About Offset’s Family
Whenever Cardi B faces a significant issue, she’s quick to share her thoughts on social media. Her latest Instagram rant came in waves, starting with a written statement on her Instagram Story, followed by an IG Live session. In these posts, the Bronx rapper addressed people trying to manipulate and gaslight her regarding her children, assuming they can take advantage of her because of her self-described “ghetto” background.
Though Cardi praised Offset as a great father, she went on to criticize a broader group, leading many fans to speculate that she was referring to Offset’s family. “I grew up poor but with sooo much love…” Cardi B began her Instagram Story over the weekend. “From my mom and dad’s side of the family… I will not accept nothing less for my children… I will not accept fake love for my kids. MY FAMILY IS ENOUGH!!!”
Meanwhile, Cardi B recently spoke about her struggles during her acceptance speech for the Hollywood Unlocked Impact Awards’ “Inspiration” accolade on Friday, June 21. “I just want to sаy thank you, Jason [Lee], so much for this award,” she told the audience. “I’m really my biggest critic and I always sаy this. Nobody has it harder than a female rapper in the industry and in every genre, and I’m going to tell you why. You have to have the best verse. Not only that, you have to kιll the charts. On top of that, your personal life has to be perfect, or the opp b***hes are going to use that against you.
“‘Your husband. Your husband.’ Shut up,” Cardi B continued, possibly referring to the drаmа surrounding her relationship with Offset. “I make more money than all the nas you’re fing. So you know, sometimes it is hard to be yourself. It is hard to push yourself into the music because sometimes I don’t like showing weakness in my music because you can’t see the py in me, bh.”
