Cardi B Says She’ll Make an Announcement About Her New Album ‘Real Soon’

A lot can change in just a month. After recently telling fans she wouldn’t release her sophomore album this year, Cardi B may now be gearing up to promote her new LP this summer.

In May, Cardi B engaged in a heated exchange with a fan about her long-awaited second album. An X user named Ty mocked her tendency to tease new music without delivering.

“‘I’m so excited to put out new music.’ ‘I can’t wait to drop my album.’ ‘Wait until I drop this song.’ ‘Album coming soon,’” Ty wrote.

Cardi B respоnded tо the tweet but later deleted her reply. A fan page then engaged Cardi with a taunting pоst, suggesting she felt hit by the criticism.

“Hоllering cause yоu feel hit?” the pоst read.

This sparked a back-and-forth with her fans, culminating in Cardi B declaring, “No album this year. I don’t care I’m relaxing this year.”

However, it seems she’s had a change of heart. During a recent performance in New York, the Bronx native asked the crowd if they were ready for a new album.

“Who’s ready for the album announcement? It’s coming real soon,” she announced.

Fans, however, remain skeptical.

“I’ll believe it when it happens… she said it’ll be sooner than ever last month,” one reply read.

While Cardi B didn’t specify exactly what “real soon” means, the music world will be watching and waiting for further updates.
