Nicki Minaj Seemingly Quashes Divorce Rumors with Heartwarming Family Image

Nicki Minaj recently sparked speculation about a possible split from her husband, Kenneth Petty, but her latest Instagram post appears to put those rumors to rest.

On Wednesday (June 12), Minaj shared a heartwarming family moment on Instagram, featuring her husband and their son boarding a private jet as she continues the overseas leg of her Pink Friday 2 World Tour.

This post comes just days after the Young Money rapper tweeted: “Yes Single…” on X, leading fans to wonder if she was hinting at her relationship status or teasing new music.

If Minaj is indeed preparing to release new music, her Instagram post would support that theory. It would be her first release since dropping her Pink Friday 2 album in December.

Nicki Minaj and Kenneth Petty have had a somewhat controversial relationship since they began dating in 2018. They married a year later and welcomed their child in 2020.

Petty is a convicted sеx offender, found guilty of the attempted rаpe of a 16-year-old girl in 1995. After failing to register as a sеx offender in California, where he and Minaj relocated in 2020, he surrendered to U.S. Marshals.

Due to his failure to register, Petty was sentenced to one year of home confinement, three years of probation, and fined $55,000.

Additionally, Petty and Minaj were accused of harassing his rаpe victim and attempting to bribe her to change her story. Minaj denied these accusations in a court filing, stating: “During the call, I never asked her to change her story; I never offered her any money in return for a statement, and I did not threаten her with any type of harm if she chose not to provide a statement. In fact, I emphatically told her that I did not want her to lie about anything and to tell the trutҺ about what she had just revealed to me only if she was comfortable with doing so.”

Nicki Minaj’s recent Instagram post seems to show a united family front, suggesting that divorce is not on the horizon.
