Deion Sanders forced players to attend a Lil Wayne concert to support Shedeur’s rap and threatened to fire anyone who skipped it

The Colorado Buffaloes had an amazing weekend leading up to the end of April Spring Game. A performance by five-time Grammy Award winner Lil Wayne at CU Events Center was part of the star-studded event. But not every detail at Coach Prime’s big event was outstanding. CU players have revealed that Sanders made attendance at the event a requirement for every player and allegedly threatened to fire those who chose not to attend.

“The Wayne concert was the final straw for a few players who hit the transfer portal,” according to a source. “They were not at all happy when Coach Prime told us that in order to support Shedeur as a rapper, we had to be there together.” To be honest, Daddy Ball was being played, and that was just a major distraction.”

This is just one more illustration of the Buffs’ turbulent offseason. Since the conclusion of the 2023 season, 42 players have left the program in total. Even though they were able to catch up by adding players that left, this was Coach Prime’s second roster change since he started at the beginning of the previous year.

Before Lil Wayne entered the stage, Shedeur Sanders was one of the opening acts. In front of Boulder’s sold-out crowd, he released his new track, “Perfect Timing”. Two weeks ago, Coach Prime released his self-titled track “Must Be The Money II” through Death Row Record. Neither song has achieved substantial radio play or a spot on the Billboard 100 rankings.
