Cardi B Reveals Her Daily Workout Routine: ‘I Stretch for an Hour to Be as Flexible as I Was When I Was a Dancer’

Cardi B is opening up about her intense fitness regimen.

In a recent TikTоk video showcasing a day in her life “as Belcalis [Almanzar],” the 30-year-old rapper shared that she dedicates an hour each day to stretching to regain the flexibility she had during her time as a strιpper.

“I’ve been working out for two hours every day, and then I stretch for an hour,” Cardi B said in the video, also noting that her 4½-year-old daughter, Kulture, often joins her at the gym.

The video featured clips of Cardi doing splits and various stretches. “I want to be as flexible as I was before I had my son [Wave, 19 months], but my real goal is to be as stretchable and flexible as I was when I was a strιpper,” she explained.

“But whew, you can’t build Rome in a day. But can you?” she added with a laugh, reflecting on her journey that began when she started stripping at 19.

Cardi’s workout routine also includes sessions with a personal trainer, featuring exercises like squats, bаttle rope workouts, weightlifting, pull-ups, and medicine ball drills.

Addressing why she works out despite having undergone liposuction, Cardi said, “A lot of people are so ignorant, like, ‘Why are you working out? You have lipo.’ But there is this thing called visceral fаt.”

“Visceral fаt is the fаt that surrounds your organs, which you cannot remove with lipo. That’s why sometimes girls with lipo might have a snatched waist but still have a gut because they’re not working out their visceral fаt. They just keep eating, and their waist is small, but they still have a belly,” she elaborated. “That’s why you gotta work it out.”

“And I want toned thighs, and you can’t buy toned thighs,” Cardi added.

According to the Mayo Clinic, visceral fаt is “belly fаt that accumulates in your abdomen in the spaces between your organs. Too much visceral fаt is strongly linked with a greater rιsk of serious health problems.”

Beyond her workouts, Cardi’s day includes quality time with her two kids, preparing a lunch of fried chicken, toy shopping at Target, and heading to the studio where she enjoys a glass of red wine.

Though she usually has help preparing meals for her children, whom she shares with her husband, rapper Offset, Cardi noted, “Usually, I have somebody doing lunch for me, but everybody’s on spring break.”

The TikTоk video also offered a peek into Cardi’s stunning home, featuring a massive walk-in closet and a playroom for her children.

“I’m getting ready before my kids notice I’m up because once they notice I’m up, they won’t leave me alone,” she said during a voiceover while showering and applying moisturizer in her closet, where she was soon joined by her daughter Kulture.
