Cardi B Reveals the Meanest Online Comment That Made Her Cry

Cardi B Opens Up About the Meanest Comment That Made Her Cry

Cardi B has shared her experience of dealing with hurtful online comments, revealing that one particularly harsh remark about her music brought her to tears.

Celebrities often face intense scrutiny, ranging from fair criticism to outright trolling. Despite her confident public persona, Cardi B admitted that some comments do get to her.

In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, the rapper discussed how certain comments have deeply affected her. She recalled a particularly painful comment she saw on social media that she couldn’t shake off.

“Like yesterday, I was scrolling through TikTоk and a b**** made me cry,” Cardi B confessed during the interview. “She was just like, ‘She has got to give it up. She’s better off being an influencer. You was cosplaying being a rapper. Because you don’t take it seriously. That’s why you don’t put out your music.’”

This comment not only upset but also frustrated Cardi B, who emphasized how seriously she takes her music. She explained that she doesn’t release new material unless it’s perfect in her eyes.

“I take my music so f****** seriously that that’s why I don’t put it out,” she continued. “Because if it’s not perfect to my ear, if every f****** word doesn’t sound like it’s pronounced right, if the beаt is overpowering the words or the words is overpowering the beаt, I don’t want to put it out.”

Regardless of personal opinions about Cardi B’s music, it’s evident that she is dedicated to her craft. Despite her status as a major nаme in female rap, she has only released one studio album, 2018’s Invasion of Privacy.

Fans have eagerly awaited her follow-up album, and the delay has led to frustration among her followers. Each year since 2018, Cardi B has hinted at a new release, leaving fans impatient.

On March 1 this year, Cardi B announced plans to release her next album in 2024. However, she got into a spat with a fan on X (formerly Twitter) who expressed skepticism.

“This is a big accomplishment for me, and of course here comes Bardigang complaining like Deum I can’t celebrate sҺit,” she replied. “Anyway NO album this year I don’t care I’m relaxing.” She later deleted these posts, and her rep confirmed that the plan to release the album in 2024 remаins intact.

For now, BardiGang fans will have to wait a bit longer, but Cardi B’s commitment to perfection ensures that the wait will be worth it.
