Kendall Jenner’s Met Gala look is called ‘boring and cheap’ while fans say Kim Kardashian ‘looks like she just woke up’

Fans were not delighted by Kendall Jenner’s highly anticipated Met Gala ensemble. On a night when ingenuity was on display, the Kardashians star took criticism for being uninteresting. The 28-year-old Kendall attended the biggest night in fashion wearing a full-length black gown that revealed a little of her butt and back at the waist.

The shirt exposed her cleavage by cutting low down her chest. The gown by Givenchy Haute Couture was part of the 1999 fall/winter collection. The designer disclosed that it has only ever been seen on a breast shape and has never been worn.

The more than 100,000 beads and sequins on the dress were hand-embroidered, taking 500 hours total. It will return to the Givenchy archives following the Gala.

However, as many critics stated on X, the former Twitter, they would have preferred it to have remained there. One user tweeted, “Basic and boring,” while another agreed, calling it “boring and disappointing.” Don’t bother returning the next time.”
