Babyface shows off the expensive mansion he bought with the help of famous rappers

According to public records, he bought the home in 2004 for $4.1 million. Edmonds built custom skylights, a gym, music studio, theater, and masonry wine cellar over time.

It sits on a quarter-acre in Bel-Air Crest, a guard-gated area of 200 residences. Two old wooden entrances with exquisite carvings lead to Edmonds’ 7,500-square-foot mansion.

Inside, a two-story gateway with wrought iron ornamentation and columns creates a mystical ambiance. A formal dining room, chef’s kitchen, family room, and black-and-white living area with a wet bar are accessible from here.

The main suite’s lounge and spa pool are on the third floor of the three-story floor layout, accessible by elevator. The upper level also boasts a wraparound balcony overlooking a lush backyard patio with an outdoor kitchen and waterfall-fed pool.

Due to the home’s size and the neighborhood’s exclusivity, Compass listing agent Tomer Fridman called it a “extremely elite product for the market”.

Babyface has released eight studio albums since the 1980s, including 2015’s “Return of the Tender Lover”. Bobby Brown, Whitney Houston, Toni Braxton, TLC, and Usher are among the R&B stars the 63-year-old has produced.
