Drake reveals childhood photos of him and his son Adonis
But the Certified Lover Boy record artist, who is married to French artist Sophie Brussaux and has a five-year-old son named Adonis Graham, isn’t discounting the possibility of getting married.
For the foreseeable future, Mrs. Drizzy won’t exist. In a humorous back-and-forth with the interviewer on a podcast, Drake revealed his skepticism over marriage in a conversation that has gone viral.
The rapper stated, “I don’t know, it seems like a thing of like, ancient times or something,” as he and Bobbi Althoff were seated on a bed for an interview on the July 20 episode of The Really Good Podcast.
The five-year-old son of French artist Sophie Brussaux and the Certified Lover Boy record artist, however, is not discounting the possibility of getting married.
“I believe I will in due course,” the 36-year-old said. “You inquired as to my reasons for not being married. The reality? I’m not sure, but I doubt I can provide someone with the stability they’d be seeking at this time. My priorities are, I believe, my life and my job. I wouldn’t want to be unable to do that, then.
Then Bobbi interrupted, jesting, “Sleeping around?”
With a giggle, Drake went on, “Partner with us and contribute.”
Later on, the rapper said, “I just don’t want to disappoint someone, and I’m not like, Amish,” which is why he didn’t want to get married.
“What do you have against Amish people?” Bobbi enquired.
“I don’t,” said Drake. “I just felt like I needed something to counter what you’re saying, which is that I’m basically a th-t.”
Additionally, the artist has not disclosed his romantic status. The singer Lilah Pi, who appears on the cover art of his April release song “Search & Rescue,” has been romantically connected to him lately.
Drake sent a happy birthday message to her on Instagram Stories in June, stating, “More life to the gyal that’s impossible to duplicate.” Happy birthday to my inspiration, confidante, closest friend, and heart. @lilahpi. She posted his tweet along with the acronym “4L,” which stands for “for life,” and a pink love emoji.
The lyrics “Lilah Pi, don’t make my eye cry / Let me hold your controller, I’m not one of the controllin’ guys” and “Just ’cause I’m not jealous doesn’t mean I don’t care, that’s just not fair / I knew you were trouble, I was unprepared / If I was married, this might turn into a scandalous affair” are another way that Drake and J Hus acknowledged Lilah.
