Diddy’s legal wоes don’t stop, this time filed by an artist who claims he still hasn’t been paid for the artwork he did for the rapper

An artist who says he hasn’t been paid for artwork he created for the troubled Bad Boy has filed yet another lawsuit against Diddy.

As of Tuesday, April 9, Raven Production Management Group, LLC filed the complaint in the Southern District of New York, according to court documents that HipHopDX was able to get. The plaintiff alleges that in August 2023, Phantom Labs and Matthew Lupton contacted him about commissioning a sculpture for an event the businessman was hosting.

The artist also stated that Diddy promised him money the very next day to start the project, and that’s when he signed the contract. As a result, the artist said, he had to pay an extra $20,000 for the project. Despite spending over $97,000 in expenses, he was never compensated for his services when the assignment was put on hold since the event had to be rescheduled.

In light of this, the filing suggests that Raven be awarded “damages to be determined at trial, but no less than $200,000 for breach of contract, no less than $96,732.00 for fraudulent inducement, and additional damages for tortious interference with contract and business relations, deceptive trade practices, unjust enrichment, and quantum meruit.”

After Homeland Security raids on his father’s properties in Miami and Los Angeles, Justin Combs, the son of Diddy, recently recruited Jeffrey Lichtman, a former lawyer for El Chapo and mob scion John Gotti Jr., to defend him. He criticized the federal agency earlier this week for supposedly “using the press” to their advantage.

In a recent Beyond the Legal Limit podcast episode, Lichtman asserted that the federal authorities had overreached their jurisdiction when they raided Diddy’s residences and permitted the media to be there while they carried out the warrant executions.

He asserted, “They were all there, ready to record it.” They were all present, informed about it, and reporting with bated breath what law enforcement agents in anonymity were telling them about the proof of sеx trafficking they are searching for.

That’s problematic because it’s simply wrong for our government or law enforcement to act in that way. They’re basically tainting a potential jury pool by utilizing the press to release the information they’re after.

He did not, however, address the sexuаl lawsuit that Christian “King” Combs, Justin’s brother, was the target of shortly after the raids stated earlier.

Diddy is named as a defendant in the lawsuit, which was filed in the Los Angeles Superior Court in early April, according to court records that NBC News was able to obtain.

Grace O’Marcaigh, the plaintiff, claims that in 2022, just a few days before his father hosted his yearly New Year’s Eve boat party, the Hip Hop scion sexually assaulted her. Furthermore, she is asserting that despite the event’s promotion as a “wholesome family event,” it quickly transformed into a “hedonistic environment” without her knowledge.

Tyrone Blackburn, an attorney representing O’Marcaigh and producer Lil Rod, who filed a similar action against Diddy back in February, stated, “Like father, like son.” “We have no pleasure or joy in bringing this lawsuit against Christian Combs, who has obviously followed in his father’s deprаved footsteps.”
