Diddy’s side said that the security forces showed excessive force when searching his two residences

Diddy believes that the cross-country raids on his several properties this week amounted to a “gross overuse” of force.

HipHopDX received a statement from the music mogul’s legal representative Aaron Dyer, in which the camp expressed opposition to the federal authorities’ inquiry and made it clear that Diddy and his family members had not been taken into custody.

The statement claims that “search warrants were executed at Mr. Combs’ residences yesterday, and there was a gross overuse of military-level force.” “There is no justification for the excessive use of force and animosity displayed by the police, nor for the treatment of his staff and children. Mr. Combs communicated with and assisted with officials but was never placed under arrest. Contrary to rumors in the media, neither Mr. Combs nor any of his family members have been placed under arrest or had any restrictions placed on their travels.

“This extraordinary аssаult, when combined with a sophisticated, well-planned media presence, causes an unwarranted haste to judge Mr. Combs and amounts to nothing more than a witcҺ Һunt founded on baseless allegations raised in civil cases. Regarding any of these charges, no criminal or civil culpability has been found. Mr. Combs is innocent, and he will keep figҺting to clear his nаme every day.

As was previously reported, on Monday, Diddy’s residences in Miami and Los Angeles were raided, and the skies above the latter were observed to be patrolled by at least two helicopters.

“Earlier today, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) New York carried out law enforcement actions as part of an ongoing investigation, with assistance from HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami, and our local law enforcement partners,” a spokeswoman from HSI stated. When more information becomes available, we will provide it.

The Southern District of New York is purportedly handling the case in connection with the numerous accusations of harassment and misbehavior that were recently made against Diddy.

Producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, who worked on The Love Album: Off the Grid, accused Diddy last month of drugging and threatening him over a one-year period in addition to harassment.

Rod claimed in his lawsuit that Brendan Paul was Diddy’s “Ԁrug mule.” Rolling Stone revealed that Paul was arrested at 4:30 p.m. ET on Monday, March 25, for possessing cоcaine and marijuana.

Paul’s family member gave the outlet confirmation that he had been taken into custody. It’s unclear how Diddy is connected to the arrest.
