Shakira Unveils Tracklist for Upcoming Album ‘Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran’ Featuring Cardi B, Grupo Frontera, and More

Shakira has revealed the complete tracklist for her highly anticipated album “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran,” scheduled for release on March 22.

The album kicks off with the opening track “Puntería,” featuring Cardi B, confirming the long-speculated collaboration between the two acclaimed artists. Additionally, the album concludes with a bonus track titled “Puntería (Vinyl Version/Spanish Version),” exclusively available on vinyl configurations.

Tejano sensation Grupo Frontera joins Shakira on Track 5 with another original song titled “(Entre Paréntesis),” while Rauw Alejandro contributes to the unreleased track “Cohete.” Moreover, Tiësto has been enlisted to remix Shakira and Bizarrap’s Latin Grammy-winning “Music Sessions Vol. 53.”

Comprising 16 tracks in total, the new album includes eight brand-new songs alongside seven previously released collaborations. Among these are chart-topping hits with Karol G (“TQG”), Rauw Alejandro (“Te Felicito”), Manuel Turizo (“Copa Vacía”), Ozuna (“Monotonía”), and Fuerza Regida (“El Jefe”).

Rumors of a collaboration between Cardi and Shakira began circulating after the two artists met for the first time at a fashion show in Paris last summer. Cardi expressed her admiration for Shakira in a social media post, describing the encounter as “incredible” and expressing her gratitude for the opportunity.

“Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran” marks Shakira’s first full-length album since “El Dorado” in 2017. Fans are eagerly anticipating both the album release and the announcement of an upcoming tour, which would mark Shakira’s first tour in seven years.

Reflecting on the creation of the album, Shakira shared, “Making this body of work has been an alchemical process. While writing each song I was rebuilding myself. While singing them, my tears transformed into diamonds, and my vulnerability into strength.”

In the past year, Shakira has been gradually making her return to music, achieving notable success with “Music Sessions Vol. 53,” which won Song of the Year and Best Pop Song at the 2023 Latin Grammy Awards. The song also made history as the Spanish language track with the most streams in a single day on Spotify.
