Cardi B fans have been circulating a fake ‘Missing’ poster of the Bronx rapper in Miami, sparking speculation about a potential album rollout
A fan page dedicated to Cardi B, @UpdatesofCardi on X (formerly known as Twitter), shared a fabricated “Missing” poster of the rapper, urging followers to repost it on social media. The poster, which contains details about Cardi’s appearance and when she was last seen, claims that she disappeared on January 1, 2024, in Miami. Accompanying the post is the hashtag #WhereIsCardi, encouraging fans to join the search for her.
The fake poster gained traction, with individuals in Miami plastering paper copies of it around the city. One fan even took to the streets holding a sign bearing the poster, aiming to draw attention to Cardi’s supposed disappearance.
The concern over Cardi’s whereabоuts extended beyond Miami, with fans in Mexico, Paris, and New York City also participating in the search. However, it turns out that Cardi hasn’t vanished at all. Despite the poster’s claims, she was spotted with her rumored ex-husband, Offset, on a Valentine’s Day outing, indicating that she’s simply enjoying her life and not missing.
Offset himself contributed to the speculation surrounding Cardi’s album release by sharing a snippet of her new music on Instagram Live. In his message, he urged Cardi to drop her album, emphasizing his request with four fire emojis and tagging her Instagram handle.
While the fake “Missing” poster stirred excitement among fans and fueled rumors of a new album, it ultimately turned out to be a playful hoax. Nonetheless, it demonstrates the dedication and enthusiasm of Cardi B’s fan base and their eagerness for new music from the Grammy-winning artist.
