Drake reunites with Travis Scott to perform ‘Meltdown’ in Vancouver

Drake’s It’s All a Blur Tour stop has an unexpected 21 Savage replacement in the form of Utopia rapper.

On Tuesday in Vancouver, Drake and Travis Scott played live together onstage for the first time since the Astroworld tragedy. The song is off their Utopia collaboration, “Meltdown.”

Scott was spotted in British Columbia in the days preceding the Vancouver shows, which fueled rumors that he would take 21 Savage’s place for the gigs. (J. Cole filled in for 21 Savage at Drake’s hometown of Toronto earlier.)

Travis Scott and Drake Celebrate 'Sicko Mode' Going No. 1Apart from performing “Meltdown,” Scott and Drake also showcased their popular song “Sicko Mode.” Scott also sang his Utopia hits, “I Know?” and “Fe!n,” along with “Goosebumps.” 

The rapper’s own Circus Maximus tour, which begins on October 11 in North Carolina and travels to Orlando, Seattle, Dallas, and Los Angeles (but not Houston, the site of the Astroworld catastrophe), was announced only hours before Scott’s attendance.
