Offset encourages Cardi B to release her highly anticipated album: ‘It’s fire’
On Monday, February 19, Cardi B’s husband took to Instagram where he reportedly teased snippets of new music from the rapper. Although the actual music was muted in the video, Offset’s enthusiastic head nods and expression of approval hinted at the quality of Cardi’s unreleased tracks. Alongside the clip, Offset added an encouraging message for Cardi, urging her to overcome any apprehensions and drop the album, emphasizing how impressive the music sounds.
Cardi B has been teasing her second album for quite some time, managing to keep fans engaged with singles like “Up,” “Hоt Sh*t” featuring Lil Durk and Ye, and last year’s “Bongos” collaboration with Megan Thee Stallion. Additionally, she has been featured on several major collaborations in the past year, including tracks with Offset, FendiDa Rappa, GloRilla, Summer Walker, and others.
Despite teasing her album’s release, Cardi has yet to follow through on her plans. In an interview with The Breakfast Club, she expressed her intention to release the album in the first quarter of 2024, revealing that she has a title in mind and plans to include 18-20 songs on the album. She also aims to announce tour plans immediately after its release. However, as of now, none of these plans have materialized, and Offset appears to be growing impatient.
Although the couple has faced relationship challenges since December, recent events suggest a possible reconciliation. Cardi and Offset spent the holidays together and reunited on Valentine’s Day, although they have not officially confirmed the status of their relationship.
