At the 60th Grammy Awards, singer Bruno Mars won Album of the Year, the most prestigious award of the evening. With the victory, Bruno Mars has had a fantastic evening. He won seven Grammys, including Record of the Year and Album of the Year for “24K Magic” and Song of the Year for “That’s What I Like.” Not just that. He was also awarded Best R&B Song and Best R&B Performance for “That’s What I Like.” Bruno Mars will undoubtedly want extra shelving space at his 9,000-square-foot home in the Studio City neighborhood of Los Angeles, California, which he bought in 2015. There, he will be able to showcase all the Grammys that he has won.
The extravagant mansion purchased by Bruno Mars for $6.5M is situated on two acres of land in the same neighborhood as George Clooney, a well-known actor from Hollywood. A wine cellar, a family room with a bar, as well as a children’s wing with two bedrooms are all included in Bruno Mar’s California Dream house, which is located in a twice-gated neighborhood. Other amenities include a children’s playground, a heated cabana, steam rooms, and dry saunas. There is also an infinity pool.
The real estate purchase is astounding since the seller is apparently Elvira Kudryashova, a former minister of Kazakhstan who was being prosecuted in federal court in California for allegedly robbing the Kazakh city of Almaty of at least $300M. When she bought the property in 2013, Kudryashova allegedly paid $5.7M, but less than a year later, she listed it again for roughly $7.8M. Mars finally purchased it for $6.5M when the price fell to $6.8M.
