Drake’s new music video, “For All the Dogs,” is out here.

Drake chose to surprise everyone on Valentine’s Day (February 14) by releasing a new video for his duet with Sexyy Red and SZA, “Rich Baby Daddy.” In the largely home video format video, Drake and Sexyy Red acted out the roles of soon-to-be parents. The six-minute video had many humorous moments, including a bustling hospital scenario that took place both before and after the child’s delivery. SZA was also heavily featured in the short.

Not surprise, the OVO star’s self-directed video sparked a lot of discussion on social media. Twitter user NATERERUN said, “Drake kissing Sexyy Red’s baby bump is taking me out,” while MrXoppi offered a more thorough analysis. He wrote, “It’s fascinating to see such a raw moment like Sexyy Red’s water breаking being portrayed in a music video, and Drake and SZA always bring something new to the table.” “It definitely pushes the genre’s storytelling boundaries.” Playing along, Sexyy Red asked followers whether they thought it would be inappropriate to put her Canadian counterpart on child support.

Sexyy Red revealed in a Billboard interview how being a part of Drake’s “It’s All A Blur Tour” inspired the production of the UV Killin Em-produced track, which was produced by Gordo, Klahr, LIOHN, BNYX, and TheLoudPack. “Ever since he invited me on his tour, me and Drake have already been cool,” she said. “He added SZA to it after we discussed doing songs.”

Drake’s eighth studio album, For All The Dogs, with additional contributions from Teezo Touchdown, 21 Sаvаge, J. Cole, Lil Yachty, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Chief Keef, and others, was released in October 2023. The song “Rich Baby Daddy” is taken from that album. Fans were gifted to a deluxe upgrade, called the Scary Hours Edition, including six tunes with a strong Hip Hop influence, one month after the album’s original release.
