Drake invests $1.150.000 Suρer Bowl bet inspired by Taylor Swift

I am unable to wager against the swifties.

Fans of the San Francisco 49ers may as well start celebrating right now if the Drake curse is still in effect.

Because of his past ties to athletes and teams, the rapper is well known for “cursing” them.

Most recently, when there were rumors that the two-way MLB phenom was going to Toronto, Drake’s birthplace, for a meeting with the Blue Jays, he shared a picture of himself wearing a Shohei Ohtani shirt. 

After it was confirmed that the rumors were untrue, Ohtani inked a contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Drake also staked $850,000 on Logan Paul to defeat Dillon Danis in October, but Paul won by disqualification, thus the bet was a loss.

The singer of “God’s Plan” was also good friends with players from the Alabama Crimson Tide in 2019 and the Golden State Warriors in 2016. While Johnny Manziel was still in college and had little success in the NFL, Drake also became acquainted with him.

Since his native Toronto Raptors, who he promotes as a worldwide ambassador, won the NBA Finals in 2019, the most of the jokes have been forgotten.

However, the curse obviously still exists.

And it has to unnerve Kansas City Chiefs supporters.

Drake is a partner of Stake, an online bookmaker where users may place bitcoin wagers. He wagered $1.15 million on the Chiefs to win the Suρer Bowl this year on the website.

Taylor Swift seems to have had an influence on it.
