Drake and Jay-Z are criticizing the Grammy Awards for passing on ‘incredible artists’
Jay-Z humiliated the 2024 Grammy Awards for once again denying his wife Beyonce album of the year.
Among the musicians who criticized the Grammy Awards for allegedly ignoring worthy performers were Drake and Jay-Z.
At the Grammys, Drake is just as upset as Jay-Z.
The One Dance hitmaker blasted the Recording Academy for passing up outstanding musicians at the 66th annual Grammy Awards.
Even though the 37-year-old artist wasn’t there at the Crypto.com Arena on Sunday, he used Instagram to express exactly how he felt.
Drake posted a video of his historic 2019 Grammys acceptance speech along with the message, “All you incredible artists remember this show isn’t the facts it’s just the opinion of a group of people whose nаme are kept a sеcrеt (literally you can google it).”
“Congrats to everyone who wins in hip-hop, but this show doesn’t dictate s*** in our world,” he said.
Drake and Jay-Z are criticizing the Grammy Awards for passing on “incredible artists.”Similar remarks were made by Jay-Z in his own acceptance speech at the 2024 Grammy Awards, when he seemed to ignore Taylor Swift’s historic win for Midnights, her fourth Best Album of the Year title.
The legendary rapper, 54, said that his wife Beyoncé, who is the highest-earning Grammy winner, ought to have won Album of the Year as he collected the Dr. Dre Global Impact Award with daughter Blue Ivy.
“Consider that: The greatest Grammy Awards. Album of the Year never won. That is ineffective. A few of you may return home feeling as if you’ve been conned. Maybe a few of you will get robbed. He said, “Some of you don’t belong in the category,” eliciting a laugh from the crowd.
