Drake embarrasses Rihanna by refusing to perform their song “Work”: ‘I’m not singing this song anymore’

It appears that Drake and Rihanna’s relationship is becoming more strained since the Canadian rapper is now refusing to perform their single “Work.”Over the weekend, Drizzy announced to the Tampa, Florida crowd that he would no longer be performing his popular song with RiRi on the first night of his and J. Cole’s It’s All a Blur: Big As the What? Tour.

Rather than doing the heavy effort himself, he invited the audience to sing along with the album.

When “Work” started playing while he was singing in a flying cage, he said, “I don’t sing this song anymore.” “You can perform it for me,”

Drake claims he no longer performs the Rihanna song “Work” together:

“I no longer sing this song. You may perform that for me.

The song “Work” was included on Rihanna’s eighth album Anti, which was released in January 2016.

The dancehall-infused track, which was produced by Boi-1da, peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Hоt 100 and was nominated for two Grammy Awards: Best Pop Duo/Group Performance and Record of the Year at the 59th Annual Grammy Awards.

On his For All the Dogs album in October, Drake made it seem as though he was going after Rihanna, with whom he had once been romantically involved.

He rapped on the song “Feаr of Heights,” asking why it seemed like I was still in love with him. That was never going to happen. Gyal is too good for me. It’s better that he’s not me.

“I’m anti, I’m anti/ Yeah, and the sеx was average with you/ Yeah, I’m anti ’cause I had it with you,” he added, seemingly making reference to her previously mentioned album.

Alright, I’m auntie like your dad’s sister/Auntie like a family photo/And, to be honest, I had way worse bitcҺes than you. Yeah, that man is still with you and won’t leave. Y’all are going on vacation; I’m guessing it’s going to Antigua.

Drake then criticized RiRi’s current lover A$AP Rocky on “Another Late Night,” saying, “I ain’t Pretty Flacko, bitcҺ, this sҺit become really Rocky/ Dаmn, what? I did him Ԁirty in the Wraith.

A$AP On his Kid Cudi collaboration “WOW,” Rocky seemed to be responding to Drake by rapping, “These n-ggas can’t stomach me, gotta go get a mandrake.”

After the couple revealed they were expecting their first child in February 2022, Drake unfollowed both Rihanna and Rocky on Instagram.
