Drake is the first artist to reach the Artist 100 Chart for 500 weeks
The count began over ten years ago.
On July 19, 2014, Billboard debuted the Artist 100 chart, marking the 500th week since its inception. Since then, the chart has tracked artists’ activities in relation to four major music consumption metrics: album sales, track sales, radio airplay, and streaming. Based on a system that includes various data, the chart offers a multi-dimensional rating of artist popularity on a weekly basis.
Drake is the only artist to have been on the list for all 500 weeks during that time.
Thanks to eight albums on the Billboard 200 and five singles on the Billboard Hot 100, Drake moved up to No. 4 on the most recent Artist 100 (dated February 3), up from No. 6. His titles on the Billboard 200 are: Scorpion (No. 50), Views (No. 61), More Life (No. 85), Certified Lover Boy (No. 42), For All the Dogs (No. 3), Take Care (No. 25), and Nothing Was the Same (No. 156).
Taylor Swift, who is number one in the Artist 100 for a record-breaking 96 weeks, is the only artist with more titles on the most recent Billboard 200, with ten charting sets.
Drake also had the following singles on the Hot 100: “First Person Shooter,” starring J. Cole (No. 34), “You Broke My Heart” (No. 60), “IDGAF,” featuring Yeat (No. 64), and “Virginia Beach” (No. 93). The song “Rich Baby Daddy,” with Sexyy Red and SZA, is ranked No. 21. (With twelve submissions, Drake’s regular collaborator 21 Savage is the only artist with more.)
Drake has completed 500 weeks on the Artist 100 overall, and he now has 38 weeks at No. 1, which is second most behind Swift.
The following artists, as of the chart of February 3, 2024, have the most weeks spent on the Artist 100 since the chart’s launch:

Drake came the closest to missing the Artist 100, coming in at No. 95 on the list of December 23, 2017.
Regarding other longevity records on the Artist 100, Drake has the most weeks in both the top 10 (313, ahead of Swift’s 256) and top 40 (484, above Swift’s 448), but Swift has spent the longest time in the top five (195 weeks, compared to Drake’s 188 weeks as runner-up).
