Megan Thee Stallion disses Drake, Nicki Minaj with her new song ‘Hiss’
Everyone who has ever shaded Megan Thee Stallion was subjected to an extensive clip.
The new song “HISS” by Tina Snow was released on Friday, January 26. The Houston native takes aim at a few prominent figures who have been making subtle jabs at her for the last two years in her first song of 2024. Many think that Meg is making fun of Rihanna and Nicki Minaj in her first verse. “These hoes don’t be mаd at Megan, these hoes mаd at Megan’s Law,” is a statement that seems to be a reference to Minaj. Meg’s rap, “I can never be judged by a b***h that was dancin’,” went viral, putting Riri in the firing line.
Nicki Minaj responded in less than fifteen minutes. The rapper from Pink Friday 2 went live on Instagram Live and shared a sneak peek of a verse she wrote just for Meg. Prior to mentioning Meg’s injuries from the 2020 Tory Lanez shooting, Minaj ranks Meg based on her height.
Meg’s new record had victims besides the girls. The 28-year-old seemed to confront Drake later in the song, which was released a year and a half after he made fun of her on the Her Loss song “Circo Loco.”
“These n****s hate on BBLs and be walkin’ ’round with the same scars/Real curvy, no edgin’, n****s figҺt to get in my section,” Meg sings. “Cosplay gangsters, fake-аss accents, don’t talk on my body count if the d**k ain’t worth coming back for seconds.” posted like a terrible b***h in another n***a neighborhood.”
“HISS” is the second track from her forthcoming third studio album. It came in a few months after Meg released “Cobra,” her first song in which she made fun of her ex-partner Pardison Fontaine. Megan Thee Stallion contacted The Breakfast Club a few hours after the song’s release to discuss the record’s true significance. Below, you can listen to her new song and see the clip.
