Kanye West’s daughter North surprised with a painting of her father and a woman

North West, the daughter of Kanye West, has demonstrated her artistic abilities with a stunning new drawing of her father.

Ty Dolla $ign showcased the three covers for his upcoming joint album with Ye, Vultures on an Instagram picture carousel on Tuesday, January 23.

One of the pictures was a sketch of the two that 10-year-old North had done by hand. In the sketch, Ty Dolla had similar tattoos on his cheek and Kanye was portrayed with a “¥$” tattoo on his right arm and a Vultures t-shirt on.

The R&B singer captioned the photo, referring to Ye’s daughter’s lyric on their highly anticipated album, “Last slide by Ms Ms Westy!”

The drawing is another evidence that artistic ability runs in the West family because Kanye showed artistic ability when he was little.

The Yeezy mogul was awarded a scholarship to study fine arts at Chicago’s American Academy of Art as a teenager, where he honed his skills. (He subsequently changed schools and enrolled at Chicago State University to study English before leaving, of course.)

Following the passing of his mother Donda West, one of the rapper’s cousins inherited the collection, and some of his earliest drawings were featured in a PBS Antiques Roadshow episode in 2020.

“I think these pieces demonstrate an extraordinary facility as an artist,” appraiser Laura Woolley said of the collection of paintings and drawings, which had an estimated worth of between $16,000 and $32,000.

Although it’s unclear if North West will pursue an artistic career, she recently stated that she intends to carry on her father’s musical legacy.

When asked in a November interview with i-D magazine what she wants to be when she grows up, North said, “A rapper, a basketball player, um. I meаn, I wаnted to be a boxer when I was seven years old. I no longer want to be a boxer, though.

“I’m going to pursue art as a hobby. When I’m around thirteen, I want to walk dogs and earn money to buy tools for my art because everything in this area is so costly.

In addition, North showed off her entrepreneurial spirit by declaring her goal to eventually take over the SKIMS and Yeezy businesses owned by her parents.

“I’m going to be a basketball player, a rapper, and I’m going to sell my artwork,” she continued. “I also want to own Yeezy and SKIMS and run my own business one day.”
