Katt Williams Collaborating on a 2Pac Album with Cardi B? The UnexpecteԀ Musical Venture
Katt Williams, the renowned comedian who has been dominating headlines recently, is expanding his repertoire into the music industry with surprising plans for a new 2Pac album. Yes, you read that correctly—an album featuring previously unheard songs from the iconic rapper, 2Pac.
On the inaugural episode of Suge Knight’s “Collect Call” podcast, recorded from prison, the former Deаth Row Records boss inquired about Katt’s involvement with unreleased 2Pac tracks. Suge expressed his excitement, stating, “The different people you said you’re gonna put on there. I don’t wanna let the cat out of the bag, but it’s unbelievable.”
While Katt remained tight-lipped about the details of the posthumous album, he did tease that only the best would be featured, including a significant Black celebrity.
Suge couldn’t contain his curiosity and asked, “I heard Cardi B on the project with you, is that true?”
“Absolutely,” Katt confirmed.
Suge Knight, who collaborated closely with Pac in the mid-90s, boldly claimed, “I always sаy she’s the female version of 2Pac.” This proclamation raised eyebrows, especially in a world dominated by Nicki Minaj.
The alleged album Katt is working on would mark the first posthumous 2Pac release since “Pac’s Life” in 2006. With a total of seven posthumously released Pac albums (including “Still I Rise”), this collaboration stands out as one of the most surprising, rivaled only by “Loyal to the Game,” produced by Eminem in 2004.
Katt didn’t shy away from expressing his opinion on the Eminem-produced album, labeling it as the only Pac project that fell short of expectations.
However, the most unexpecteԀ revelation from the conversation was Suge’s assertion that Cardi B is the “female version of 2Pac.” While Cardi B has not confirmed her participation in the posthumous 2Pac album, if true, it promises to be an intriguing and unconventional musical experience.
