The highly publicized breakup of Cardi B and Offset has taken center stage, and Quavo, a collaborator of the couple, has offered his perspective on the unfolding drаmа. Taking to the platform formerly known as Twitter, Quavo expressed his sentiments regarding the situation on Saturday (Dec. 16).

In a tweet, he wrote, “Nephew ain’t with the soap opera. LONG LIVE ROCKET 🚀 🙏 Pray for y’all though. ∞” While it seems he was referring to his fellow “Motorsport” collaborators, he also defended the late Takeoff, whom Cardi B’s fans had brought up in the midst of the controversy.

The artist known for “Ric Flair Drip” took a stand for Takeoff, addressing fans who had made inappropriate comments. “Fan wishing deаth on takeoff is crаzy yal lil a** better chill,” he wrote on Saturday. He followed up with a clearer message less than two hours later, stating, “Correction: Fans using Takeoff’s nаme in the middle of all this isn’t cool. I’m still grieving my brother, and would like for his nаme to not be brought up.”

The drаmа between Cardi B and Offset initially ignited when Blueface accused the Atlanta rapper of being involved with his ex-girlfriend Chrisean Rock. Offset denied the allegations, but the situation prompted Cardi B to speak up, confirming that she had been single for some time.

Addressing the rumors about her husband, Cardi B stated in a video, “I know today has been an eventful day. I don’t pay mind to none of that. I don’t care about none of that. I don’t know if y’all been getting clues from me from my Lives, from my Stories, when I put certain music [up] or from my unfollowings. When it comes to today’s events, I don’t think it’s true. I don’t care to find out because I’ve been single for a minute now.”
