Lil Uzi Vert realizes music isn’t eternal, so they’re investigating other careers.
The Philadelphia rapper told TMZ in a video posted on Sunday (December 24) that LUV is Rage 3 will be their last album.
They said, “I love making music, but I don’t really wanna make music like that no more”. Making women’s outfits is my goal.
When asked if their girlfriend, JT of the City Girls, would help, they said “she had her own stuff goin’ on.”
They also said they liked Cardi B and teased an official video for their Nicki Minaj collaboration, “Everybody,” coming soon.
Lil Uzi Vert’s label rented a billboard last month to fight to keep them from retiring.
On October 23, the Philadelphia rapper announced that Luv Is Rage 3 will be their “last” album at night two of their Pink Tape Tour in Chicago. The 28-year-old promised fans one more tour to support the project, but stated they will retire from music to live a “normal life.”
Uzi’s company, Generation Now, and talent agency, the Diop Agency, acquired a billboard in Philadelphia to persuade them to keep making music.

On night two of their Pink Tape Tour in Chicago in October, the 28-year-old said their next record will be their “last.”
Fans were promised one more tour to support the project before retiring from the business to live a “normal life.”
Uzi disappointed the crowd by saying, “Luv Is Rage 3 will be my last album.” No, chill. It’s okay… I may embark on another Luv Is Rage 3 tour afterward. After that, I want a normal life.”
Lil Uzi Vert has not set a release date for LIR 3.
The project will follow Luv Is Rage 2, released in August 2017. Featuring the single “XO Tour Llif3,” the album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and was certified double platinum by the RIAA.
