Despite his successful career and huge fortune, Drake still doesn’t want to get married and here’s why

This rapper spoke candidly about his romantic life.

Drake doesn’t seem to be in a rush to get married anytime soon.

The 36-year-old rapper discussed marriage and the reasons he hasn’t been married yet during a recent appearance on “The Really Good Podcast with Bobbi Althoff.”

“I’m not sure. It has the appearance of being from the distant past. “Eventually, I believe I will,” said Drake, whose true name is Aubrey Graham.

“I’m not sure whether I can provide someone with what they would be searching for. Just constancy. My priorities are, I believe, my life and my job.”

Drake’s reasons for not being in a relationship

Drake downplayed the notion that he won’t settle down because he wants to keep sleeping around, as Althoff had mentioned.

Rather, Drake said that at this stage of his life, he is unable to provide “consistency” in a relationship.

He continued, saying, “I don’t wanna get married because like, I just don’t wanna disappoint someone,” adding that he didn’t picture himself wed to another famous person.

Drake said, “I probably won’t end up marrying someone famous.” “To be honest, famous individuals aren’t all that interesting or anything.

“I like people who are something of their own. They are not only a carbon replica, someone I have seen several times in my life. You know, I prefer people that have a sense of humor. I enjoy—I’m not sure, like, cosplay.”

Drake is still single, but in 2017 he welcomed his 6-year-old son Adonis into the world. He fathered the kid with the French artist Sophie Brussaux.
