Fans are infuriated when Travis Scott cancels his Chicago event only hours before it starts

One dissatisfied fan posted on Scott’s Instagram, “Goes to Saudi Arabia a day before his Chicago show to reschedule. Unreal.”

An X user said, “Travis Scott picked dat Saudi money over the Chicago money and that’s that.”Travis Scott’s Chicago concert was postponed last minute Friday, sending fans online in anger.

Someone on the rapper’s Instagram said, “You did Chicago so Ԁirty bro I was so ready for tonight man why didn’t you give an earlier notice?”

“Travis [I] just drove 5 hours to united center no way u j postponed.”

United Center, the venue for the Utopia – Circus Maximus tour, announced the cancellation on social media after 4 p.m. on Friday.

“Travis Scott’s show at United Center scheduled for tonight has been postponed,” X and Instagram announced.

“All tickets will be honored for the new date once announced. Information will be provided here and emailed to ticketholders when available.”

On Dec. 16, Scott, 32, wrote on X, “I literally spent 24 hrs on a f–king runway.” He suggested he was stuck on an airliner. Craziest crаp ever.My Chicago friends, I was ready to go nuts.

Chicago was always a favorite. The whole tour I waited for Togo ham.I’ll return the first few days of January.”

After the postponement, the “Antidote” rapper said via X “IM SOOOOOO F–KKKKINGGGGG HOTTTTTTTTTTT,” which would make sense if he was stranded in an airplane on a runway, as airplanes don’t blast the air conditioner until they’re in the air.

Page Six contacted his United Center agents and spokespeople for comment but did not hear back.

Fans believed Friday night that the “Sicko Mode” rapper was unable to make it to Chicago after performing worldwide in Saudi Arabia.

An Arabic news outlet reported that Scott began the Soundstorm event in Riyadh Thursday with “Fe!n” and “Goosebumps.”

The overseas event featured Calvin Harris and Metallica.
