Hitkidd, the producer behind GloRilla’s 2022 hit “F.N.F. (Let’s Go),” recently unveiled that both Nicki Minaj and Cardi B were interested in contributing to the remix of the track. In a Twitter post on Sunday, December 3, Hitkidd disclosed his original intention to assemble the leading women in hip-hop for the updated version, including Megan Thee Stallion. He shared, “Nicki Minaj called me to get on the [‘F.N.F.’] remix, but I still went [with] who I already had on it because I gave them my word.”

Hitkidd further revealed that Cardi B also expressed a desire to be part of the remix, and he reached out to Megan Thee Stallion to join forces. He aimed to revolutionize the game by featuring the hottest female artists on a single track. However, when the revamped record was released in September 2022, it showcased Latto and City Girls’ JT.

In a subsequent post, Hitkidd emphasized, “I [respect] Nicki’s artistry, but I made a moral decision. Like I said, I was trying to get everybody [on] one song and change the game.”

Speculation arose about a potential rift between Saweetie and GloRilla due to Saweetie’s absence from the new version. However, the Memphis native dispelled any drama by expressing gratitude to the “My Type” rapper on social media for her support.

Hitkidd hinted at the possibility of releasing a second remix featuring Saweetie. He explained, “I’ll have to get it cleared. We have the video with Saweetie, though. She showed us a lot of love, which is why I still want to drop it. Hopefully, we can drop it for the fans!”

Saweetie had previously discussed the collaboration on Yung Miami’s “Caresha Please” last year, expressing her admiration for emerging female artists. She said, “I love catching a new girl before she blows. It’s just something so beautiful seeing a woman who’s coming up. I saw ‘F.N.F.’ and was like, ‘I gotta meet her.’ Flew her to LA. We cut it [and] shot the video. I had a really good time with GloRilla.”
